In short
- We take no rebate or commission from any factory. Our income comes only from the service fees our clients pay us directly.
- Factory verification and inspection have fixed prices, the same whether the factory passes or fails.
- The 10% sourcing commission is charged only if the order actually goes ahead.
- We record real video of every on-site verification and give it to the client.
A verification is only worth what the verifier has to gain
If the person checking a factory can earn something from that factory, the report can lean in its favor. This page explains in plain terms how SourciaVera is paid and what that means for the reports you receive, so you can judge it yourself.
1No rebates from factories
We do not take any rebate or commission from factories. Our income comes only from the service fees paid directly by our clients.
2Fixed price, whatever the result
Factory verification and inspection are fixed-price services. The price is the same whether the factory passes or fails, so we have no financial reason to help a factory pass.
3Commission only on a real order
The 10% sourcing commission is charged only if the order actually goes ahead. It is paid by you, as a share of the order value, not by the factory.
4Real video for the client
We film every on-site verification and give the real video to the client, so you can compare our conclusions with what was recorded.
The one place where we earn more when a deal closes
If you use our sourcing service, we earn the 10% commission when your order goes ahead. We tell you this openly because it is the one case where closing a deal benefits us. That is why verification and inspection are sold separately, at a fixed fee, and can be bought on their own: for many importers the verification is a one-time job, and they close the deal themselves.
Whichever service you choose, you can see the prices in advance on our services and pricing section.
The limits of this statement
- It is not a certification or accreditation from a third party, and SourciaVera does not claim one. It describes how we are paid, and you can hold us to it.
- A report describes what we verified and saw on the day of the visit. It is not a laboratory test, a legal opinion or a customs opinion.
- We cannot promise that a factory will pass. We can promise that the price does not depend on the result.
Look at the evidence, not only at the promise
- Open the sample report to see what a report contains and where the video fits.
- Read how inspections are done, so you know what is checked and what a pass means.
- Use our guide to choosing a provider, with questions you can ask us and any other company.
